1. General

SpineOS and EasySpine provide software for spine-surgery planning support, measurement, and recovery tracking. All content and outputs are provided for educational and informational purposes. Nothing on this site or in these applications constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a guarantee of any clinical outcome. Clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the treating clinician; personal health decisions belong with you and your care team. Neither product is an emergency channel — for urgent or severe symptoms, call your care team or 911.

2. Measurements and parameter estimation

Spinal parameters computed by SpineOS (angles, distances, alignment parameters, and derived values) are geometric and statistical estimates computed from clinician-placed or clinician-confirmed landmarks on uploaded images. Their accuracy depends on image quality, calibration, and landmark placement. Millimeter values are shown only when a calibration source exists, and estimated values are labeled as estimates. They are not a substitute for a clinician's own measurement or judgment.

3. Correction simulation and post-operative estimation

Planning tools that simulate per-level corrections or estimate post-operative parameters are for educational purposes only. They apply deterministic geometry and published population-level regressions to clinician-entered inputs. They do not model soft tissue, bone quality, instrumentation behavior, healing, or patient-specific compensation, and they are not predictions of any individual patient's surgical outcome. Simulated values are estimates for planning discussion, never a directive for treatment. Plans a clinician saves persist as drafts; advancing a plan to a reviewed or accepted status requires the reviewing clinician's explicit confirmation.

4. Reference bands and normative comparisons

Where a measured parameter is displayed against a published reference band, the band is shown with its source citation and study cohort. Published reference values derive from specific study populations and may not apply to a given patient; the per-band cohort disclosure describes the population the comparison is limited to. A value outside a reference band is not a diagnosis, and a value inside one is not an assurance of health.

5. No doctor–patient relationship

Use of this site or these applications does not create a doctor–patient relationship with SpineOS, its founders, or any clinician affiliated with it. Participating clinics remain responsible for their own patients' care.
